The survey was conducted among journalists in the Gaza Strip from June 6 to June 16, 2024. The survey aimed to collect data on the experiences and challenges faced by journalists amidst ongoing war. It was distributed via email and text messages to hundreds of journalists and yielded 213 responses.

The survey is part of the Gaza Project, a collaborative investigative project involving over 50 journalists from 13 media outlets organized by "Forbidden Stories." The project focused on investigating attacks against Palestinian journalists in Gaza and the West Bank since October 7, 2023.
