Wakea: Digital narration tools are complementary to storytelling, not a frame to tell the story
In this issue of our monthly newsletter, we host Egyptian prize winner Mahmoud Wakea. Wakea graduated in Cairo University, majoring in journalism. In a short time, Wakea managed to navigate through the most important Egyptian media institutions. He worked with Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper and satellite channels, among others.
Wakea trained and produced a number of investigations with ARIJ on human rights and corruption. His last investigation was the prize-winner: "Made in Prison". |
